“Winnipeg partners celebrated Clean Air Day by honouring those travelling by Active Transportation on the Esplanade Riel. Free coffee, juice and muffins from Tall Grass Prairie Bakery were given to anyone cycling, in-line skating, walking, running, skateboarding, scootering or wheeling! There was a lot of positive media attention and a good time was had by all!”

Peter Corbyn of Fredericton was presented the National Clean Air Day Award for education and personal achievement Wednesday.

This Mom who was idling her car in school parking lot was
so happy to be reminded not to idle.
Her son in the back seat liked the whirl a gig
(spinning top)– as all his brothers had one but him.
