2009 Events

The Burns Bog Conservation Society is hosting their 18th Annual International Bog Days. The event will be taking place on July 25th and 26th. International Bog Day began in Scotland 13 years ago to celebrate the world's bogs. This day raises awareness about the benefits of bogs and the need to protect and conserve these precious ecosystems.
International Bog Days are a great opportunity to tour the Bog, enjoy local performances, and check out interactive exhibits. There will also be a kid's' adventure tent, snacks, exhibits, and additional bog tours. This fun filled day is ideal for people of all ages looking to have a good time with family and friends. If you have any questions or if you would like to become an exhibitor e-mail at events@burnsbog.org or call 604.572.0373. Also visit our website www.burnsbog.org for more info.
